 "OMG2" Caravan Review

Akshay Kumar, Pankaj Tripathi and Yami Gautam's Caravan OMG 2' is out. Each film premieres on August 11.

Tushar Joshi In 2012, OMG-Oh My God was a unique success because it had a unique storyline. The central figure of the film was not a mortal, but the Almighty. The sequel to this Akshay Kumar film 'OMG2' is coming out after a gap of over a decade. The trailer of the film, which also stars Pankaj Tripathi and Yami Gautam in important roles, was also dropped recently. Let's see how good or bad the OMG2 station looks. The trailer starts with a voice over with world shots where Lord Shiva asks Nandi to shoot one of his Shivgans to help one of his constituents (Pankaj Tripathi). The film deals with the subject of sex education and suggests the fire that a family goes through when a young boy is accused of MMS.

The highlight of the caravan is undoubtedly the discourses. Pankaj Tripathi and Yami Gautam meet in court and their exchange is hilarious. An alternative stylish thing about the trailer is Akshay Kumar's appearance as Lord Shiva. Everything from her mischievous smile to her first transaction with Tripathi leaves the right impression. Director Amit Rai focuses on the writing and it comes through crisp and sharp dialogues that bring wit and humor. Pankaj Tripathi's performance is a big highlight and you get to see Arun Govil (the infamous Lord Ram) in a supporting role. Overall, the trailer of "OMG 2" looks promising and the makers have created the right buzz without giving too much importance to the theme and plot of the film. OMG2 will arrive in theaters on August 11.
