New Year fests live updates : The Delhi Police has enforced expansive business arrangements and restrictions across the megacity, fastening on Connaught Place. Nearly 20,000 police and civil labor force are stationed to maintain law and order for New Year’s Eve. Around 50 brigades equipped with glucometers will cover drunk driving at crucial locales. fresh sentry staff will also have alcometers for farther checks.

The business restrictions will be assessed near Connaught Place after 8 pm. The police have issued stickers for the cars entering Connaught Place following 8 pm. Ten spots have been linked at the Connaught Place where people can not go with their vehicles, the officer said.

The DCP noted that large crowds are anticipated at clubs, hospices, caffs , cafés , promenades, premises , and other venues. Special arrangements will concentrate on Connaught Place, Khan Market, five- star hospices similar as The Lalit, Imperial, Park, Royal Plaza, Shangri- La, Le Meridien, Taj Mahal, Taj Vivanta, Metropolitan, Claridges, Ashoka, Samrat, ITC Maurya, and Taj Palace, as well as India Gate,' C' Hexagon, Kartavya Path, tabernacles, and gurudwaras.
