In a yet another attack in the United States, at least 11 people were injured in a firing in a night club in Queens, New York, reports said.
Reports indicated that the shooting commenced close to the Amazura event hall located at 91-12 144th Place in Jamaica, inside the boundaries of the 103rd precinct, around 11:15 PM on January 1.
Police officers entered multiple 911 calls around 1118 pm on Wednesday for" several people" shot outside the Amazura café in Jamaica, Queens.
Authorities reported that three to four males were approaching the venue and discharged their weapons over 30 times toward a group waiting in line outside the event, hitting several cars. Six ladies and four males, ranging in age from 16 to 20, were struck by pellets, NYPD officers said at a press conference on Thursday.
Police are searching for a light- coloured hydrofoil in connection with the firing. The authorities stated that all the victims were not in critical condition.
The New York Police Department (NYPD) assured the community that it was "not a terrorist attack. "
