Jeffrey Epstein files phase 1 DOJ releases documents naming these Donald Trump family members
The US Department of Justice( DOJ) on Thursday released a cache of documents related to condemned coitus lawbreaker Jeffrey Epstein, revealing a list of high- profile connections, including Ivana Trump and Ivanka Trump. The roughly 200- runner document, which includes Epstein’s contact list, flight logs, and other substantiation, does n't introduce significant new details but reaffirms former reports about Epstein’s wide network of associations.
Among the names set up in the contact list were Rolling monuments frontman Mick Jagger, actor Alec Baldwin, pop star Michael Jackson, Ethel Kennedy( mama of Robert F Kennedy Jr.), former New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo, supermodel Naomi Campbell, and musician Courtney Love. Others listed included Bob Weinstein, family of disgraced Hollywood patron Harvey Weinstein; billionaire David Koch; late Sen. Ted Kennedy; actor Ralph Fiennes; counsel Alan Dershowitz; former Secretary of State John Kerry; actor Dustin Hoffman; businessman Jon Huntsman; and model Liz Hurley. The list was redacted to remove particular contact details.
The DOJ documents also contained a redacted list of 254 masseuses, bartering out their names as they were considered victims. Flight logs from Epstein’s private spurt, the “ Lolita Express, ” were included but had formerly been made public with redactions in former releases. still, the document release did n't serve as a “ customer list ” and did n't confirm any direct involvement of the listed individualities in illegal conditioning.
The release, described as" Phase One," was met with disappointment by some spectators awaiting major exposures. Conservative judge Liz Wheeler, who was given early access to the documents, told followers in a livestream, “ We’re all staying for stunners and that’s not what’s in this binder at all. ”
In the meantime, the Associated Press disproved a modified image connecting Trump and Epstein.
A former attempt to link President Donald Trump and Jeffrey Epstein through a manipulated snap was debunked by an Associated Press report on July 10, 2019. The altered image, which circulated extensively on social media, falsely showed Trump kissing the head of a youthful Ivanka Trump next to Epstein and a Harley- Davidson motorcycle.
According to AP’s fact- checking, the original print, taken on October 19, 1993, at the grand opening of the Harley- Davidson Cafe in New York City, did n't include Epstein. The licit image, credited to celebrity shooter Ron Galella, is archived by Getty Images.
Trump had preliminarily conceded knowing Epstein, describing him as a “ atrocious joe ” in a 2002 New York Magazine interview. still, White House counselor Kellyanne Conway latterly stated that Trump had n't been in contact with Epstein for over a decade and set up the charges against him “ disgusting. ”
The DOJ’s rearmost document release is anticipated to be followed by farther exposures, though it remains unclear whether unborn phases will reveal new information about Epstein’s network and conditioning.
