Fabric and crafts retailer Joann blazoned Wednesday it'll be closing about 500 stores civil, nearly a time after filing for ruin.

The Hudson, Ohio- grounded company, which operates further than 800 stores, declared ruin in March 2024 while reporting between$ 1 billion and$ 10 billion in debt. In court documents, the retailer criticized advanced costs from dispatching overseas products, as well as waning consumer demand.

Joann store closures are passing in nearly every state. There are nearly 60 locales closing in California, and other countries seeing a lot of closures include Florida, Illinois, Massachusetts, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, New York, Pennsylvania and Texas.
